Inaugural lecture by Professor Steffen Petersen
The environmental impact of the built environment is a major contributor to the current risk of irreversible climate change that will have catastrophic consequences. This lecture discusses the crucial role of Building Science in the design, construction, and operation of sustainable buildings with a safe, healthy, comfortable, and productive indoor environment.
As of November 2022, Steffen Petersen was appointed as Professor of Building Science at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University. The Department cordially invites all interested to attend the inaugural lecture. After the lecture, there will be an informal reception hosted by the Department.
