E-bikes

The Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering has two e-bikes. The e-bikes can only be used by employees of the department, when carrying out university tasks.

The e-bikes are parked in Navitas’ parking basement for bikes, level -01.

Procedure when using the e-bikes

Book in Outlook calendar:

• CAE Damecykel, Navitas
• CAE Herrecykel, Navitas

Pick up key, helmet, and bicycle basket in the mailroom (Room 04.220)

Lock the bike

• Use the same key to lock and unlock the bike and the chain lock.
• Always bring the chain lock and lock the bike to something.
• The chain lock can be attached to the other side of the lock and can be unlocked by using the traditional bicycle key.
• Take the battery and basket with you.

Bike drop-off

After completing the trip, the bike must be returned in the basement designated for bikes (level -1) and placed at the CAE marked spots. Key, bicycle helmet, and bicycle basket must be returned to the box on upper shelf in 04.220.
The basement is open in the time span 7:30-16:00. If you need to access the bikes before or after, you can open the gate using your key card.

Please make sure to charge the battery when you return. The battery must be removed from the bike during charging.
